Western Edge Seafood is a producer and distributor of frozen seafood products to retailers restaurant groups wholesalers and foodservice distribution companies throughout the United States specializing in Tilapia Catfish Ocean Perch Pollock Swai Salmon Haddock Mahi Shrimp Whiting Seafood Mix and Cod. Our company began in 1988 with importing and distributing fresh Mahi but with the dwindling fresh seafood business we decided to put our expertise in seafood to work in the frozen seafood arena.

Our flagship item is Tilapia bringing approximately 17 000 000 lbs a year into the U.S. To service our current customer base. We have experienced a tremendous amount of growth in Tilapia since we first began importing this product in 2004 at a rate of approximately 960 000 lbs annually. We owe this growth to our commitment to producing premium quality seafood through a strong presence in China with partnerships with our farms and packing facilities and our strict standards we have put in place that our farms and packers must adhere to in terms of workmanship taste and quality control.

We took the platform for success from our Tilapia program and applied it to all of the other species in their own respective programs ensuring that when you purchase Western Edge Seafood brand products you are getting the highest quality at the best value.
